When the army arrived in early June, they ended up being reluctant and resisted the situation within the crowd of the strikes.
How many people were killed in the Tiananmen square massacre ?
The resulting military crackdown on the protesters by the PRC government left many civilians dead or injured. The reported tolls ranged from 200–300 (PRC government figures), to 300–800 (The New York Times), and to 2,000–3,000 (Chinese student associations and Chinese Red Cross).
The truth is that they did not want to show the real numbers of death people. It was a huge loose that they fear something bath will result form revealing harsh information.
